Ground Yourself

Privacy policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

Ground Yourself is an iPhone breathing app. It works entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no server to log into, and nothing to sync. This page is a plain summary of what that means.

What the app collects

Nothing, by default. Ground Yourself does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reporting, or any third-party SDK that tracks you. The app does not know who you are.

Data stored on your device

Three things are saved locally on your iPhone so the app is useful across launches:

All of this lives in the app's sandbox. Deleting the app deletes it.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Ground Yourself writes each completed session (lasting at least 20 seconds) to Apple Health as a Mindful Minutes entry. That's one entry, with a start time and end time — nothing else.

Ground Yourself does not read any data from Apple Health. Your Health data stays on your device, managed by iOS, not by us.

Notifications

If you turn on "Remind me each day" in Settings, iOS schedules a daily local notification at the time you pick. These are local-only — nothing is sent over the network, and nothing reaches any server.

What we do not do

Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. We don't collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If anything in this policy changes — for example, if a future version adds a feature that needs different handling — we'll update the "Last updated" date above and note what changed.
